Very disappointed in this production

Our family enjoys attending theatre from local plays to broadway. We all were very disappointed in this production and will not attend if this company returns. The play had a lot of singing with each act. Not only did it seem out of place, but some of the songs were very long. We were in row S and it was very difficult to hear also. They had a lot of dancing that seemed to go on...and on. It is almost as though they took out the essence of Scrooge and tried to fill it with lengthy song and dance. How many times must a young boy go to the butcher's door and pound for a Christmas Turkey? Three was the magic number, who would have thought. All of the characters had the same laugh. When they would laugh out loud during their set, each sounded like the person before. We would have left but we brought a guest from Ecaudor to attend the play with us.

A Christmas Carol to begin the season

We really enjoyed 'A Christmas Carol' this year. The acting was well-done and the interpretation was excellent. The only criticism we would make is that, due to some un-nessessarily long scenes, the play was a little too long. There were two scenes in particular that could have been shortened. The first was when Scrooge was 'eating' his dinner. Cut the slurping in half. The second was the party scene at the nephews house. You made the point, so the partying could have been a little shorter. However, we did really enjoy the play, overall. Thank you for beginning our Christmas season so merrily and meaningful.
